Adrenalectomía por Laparoscopia

 

 

Abstract

 

Laparoscopic surgery of the adrenal glands has been established at most surgical centers. We have successfully performed the procedure at Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe, Medellín (Colombia), in a 32 year old man with advanced and irreversible hypertension as part of Conn’s syndrome or primary hyperaldosteronism.

 

We review the surgical technique and briefly review the subject from the clinical and surgical perspectives.
